I thought the launch of merchandising was going too smoothly.
It was.
It looks like we have an issue with mode used to set the search term that triggers a result.
So for example if I search for x, merchandising should return but if I search for x y, it shouldn’t.
But it looks like it’s not working like this at the moment.
At present if you search for x y, even though I have x set to trigger exactly only at that spot, the x campaign will appear.
From our digging it would appear the default is set in the dev studio to be phrase and not exact.
Now you can change in the dev studio rule by rule.
This doesn’t work for me, as my end users will only have access to the web studio.
Endeca are looking at it but without this fix allot of our merchandising plans are in a bit of a pickle.
Fingers crossed at this point.
