Eh that’s an odd score. FIFA has re-entered my life, and I love it.
Bought FIFA 07 for research reasons, which i may be able to announce in a few weeks.
And while I’m still getting to grips with it, haven’t played FIFA since road to world cup 02, I played my first online game.
I couldn’t find anyone to play in the interactive league but just as a one off game there seemed to loads of people to play.
Ended up playing someone in Spain I assume.
And yes they did kick my arse in the second half but I felt until that point I played quite well.
However that’s not really the point.
Knowing I was playing a real person made it feel so much more real and it seemed quite smooth very little lag.
All I need know is some hard core offline practice and I’m ready to tackle the world.
Or at least scrape out a draw.
Oh, and I love the fact that online the players include any purchased in the transfer window.
And on the rating front, my opponent 6 and I got a lowly 1.
Still I can only get better.
